MY FAVORITE RUSSIAN ARMY MUSIC VIDEO!

NOW THIS VIDEO IS COOL!! My russian language skills suck, I can carry on very simple conversations when my Russian victims help me along a little bit--and thank G_d for the politeness and kindness of them!!

I actually don't know what is being said in this video, because of my aforementioned sucky russian skills, but it is clear the star of this video is sort of the Russian equivalent of our "Gunny" from the History Channel's program Mail Call.

There is a snappy beat, good photography, and best of all, I like that the Russians haven't forgotten the value of displaying some junky, and well worn training equipment.

For example, (and on a side note) when the United States was in the early stages of its criminal invasion of Iraq, the Russians had found some old explosives still stashed in some of their buildings from WW2/The Patriotic War. These explosives were meant to be detonated with invading Germans inside the buildings should they actually have been able to take Moscow. So, the ancient and proably now inert c-4/plastique was displayed in an international news story. But the message from the Russians wasn't in the C-4/plastique, it was in the hands of the man holding it. This explosive was held by the roughest and strongest looking hands you have ever seen. These hands looked like they could have done any kind of work without gloves and never feel pain.

The message from the Russians was clear to anyone who was paying attention. "You Americans might have all kinds of fancy and expensive weapons, and you are obviously willing to use them to mugg Iraq, but if you ever try that little trick here in Russia, we have forgotten more about repeling criminal invaders than you people will ever know" That message was made crystal clear by the "discovery" of the ww2 era explosives that were being displayed by the rouhest hands I have ever seen.

So, getting to this modern music video, it is shot with ancient and junky Russian Army training tools in the backround, but it is just their well worn nature that blends very well with the modern music and format to give this video a chilling and inspirational, and quite upbeat flavor.

Enjoy!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOaGgY2yUHw

Hey – since you’re a YouTuber, you might want to check this out… There’s a video company that’s recruiting
YouTubers and if they like your stuff, (and they should) they will actually pay you when your video gets a hit.
Here’s their link… www.flownetworkproductions.com/videorevenue.htm. It’s about time the people who make
the videos get some of the money instead of it all going to YouTube!
