Dear Reader/Readers,
Mikes Vacation is undergoing a period of change at the moment. Mikes Vacation started as a blog to publish editorials and critique propaganda against the Republic of Belarus and Alexander Lukashenka.
Mikes Vacation will continue to keep an eye on Belarusian events and write editorials about Belarusian issues, however we desire to broaden our subject matter to include domestic matters in the United States and any important international issues that come to light.
Mikes Vacation is seeking writers and contributors of all skill levels that have specialty interests in the following areas: International Affairs, Economics, Politics, Humanity, Propaganda Identification and the reverse engneering of the same, Social Engeneering, Socialism, Communism, The identification of Fascism, Democracy, Liberty and Freedom and lastly but certainly not least, movie reviews, book reviews, humerous prose and short stories and quality jokes. (after all this heavy political stuff we will all need a laugh or two)
Here at Mikes Vacation we don't practice censorship of any kind. As long as your articles and essays don't advocate violent physical attacks on another man, then you can be published here. Obviously as the editor and manager of this blog, I may need to coach and assist contributors to ensure the reader is always presented with a logical and high quality product, but as I said, you will never be censored.
Obviously, if you publish something that is Anti-Belarus, or Anti-Lukashenka, I will be in a good position to refute your essay and provide proof of my positions. However, you can still post your opinions about Belarus even if they don't agree with my own.
Nobody pressures Mikes Vacation, we rely on no man for financial support. We exist at present as a profitless for profit entity.
We will structure ourselves to never become pressured by any potential advertisers or supporters.
Mikes Vacation exists to promote freedom of speech and freedom of thought. Mikes Vacation was originally founded to support the country of Belarus and the Presidential Administration of Alexander Lukashenka of Belarus.
You can't get much more contraversial than that. Because of the difficult and often painful struggle I have personally gone through to support the Republic of Belarus and her president Alexander Lukashenka, I understand to my very bones the value of a free press and the value of a publishing enviroment that is free from pressure to produce essays that change the truth of an issue for the purpose of pleasing an editor or readership.
I am very interested in pleasing my "readership" , however I am interested in pleasing them with a high level of integrity and a decent quality of journalism all of the time rather than pleasing them some of the time with prose that simply plays to their ego or their personal value systems.
So, if you are interested in getting in on the ground floor of what I hope will be a growing blog, then you are welcome to email me. Michael Miller
